Cooking Porridge Sharing

Since Tuesday I went for my wisdom tooth surgery, I had been eating porridge for 3 days. Therefore, I will like to have a little sharing with you guys.

Minced Pork Porridge

These are what you needs:

1. Half Cup / 1 Cup of Rice. (Depend on individuals)

2. 500ml - 600ml of Water

3. 50grams of Minced Meat

4. 1 teaspoon of "Hua Tiao Chiew"

5. 1 teaspoon of "Sesame Oil"

Ready? Let's begin!

First: Pour in the 500ml to 600ml of water into a pot. Boil it.

Next: Once the water is boil, put in the rice. (Rem to wash the rice first.)

Next: Cover the lid and leaving it slightly open, turn fire to slimmer and stir occassionly. (around 10mins.)

Next: Concurrently while waiting, now put the 50grams of mince meat inside a bowl, putting in the "Hua Tiao Chiew", "Sesame Oil" and some pepper. Stir and mix well.

Next: After 10 mins, put in the mince meat that you had prepared. Dropping bit by bit into the pot.

Next: Stir well. Once you see the meat is fully cooked (2 - 3mins). Close the fire. Done!

Well done! Serve hot and enjoys your Minced Pork Porridge.

P.S. People that like the porridge to be salter, can add some light soya sauce or pepper.

I recommand "Olive vegetables" also known as "Ka Na Cai", easily purchase @ NTUC to serve together with the porridge.
